are you profoundly shocked and unduly disturbed when you see or hear of a dub you know yielding to doubts, cooling off and perhaps even becoming rebellious to the point of deserting the christian congregation and trying to draw others away with him?

having served as an elder before resigning i can understand why 'christendom's' ministers are full time.

you have to find the balance between, family, work, preparing for meetings (including non public meetings), rest, self study, field service, and i'm sure i left some items out.

this is extremely difficult if you truly want to do a good job.

NEW PUBLIC SPEAKERS COMING SOON?

i can remember sitting at the service meetings, listening to the announcements, hoping that someday we would get a letter from the wts stating that as of sept. 1, (anyyear) that qualified sisters would be giving public talks and conducting all other meetings.

in order to qualify they would have to be beautiful, weigh between 110- 120lbs, have a least a c-cup, free from accusation, a wife of one husband or single, free from accusation, .. .

feel free to add all and any qualifications you see fit to enhance your idea of a woman qualified to teach

what i've learned

i've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.

i've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and standing in lines.

no doubt many who visit our little community here at jwd were former elders.

im sure that many are still active as elders, and there are those would someday hope to be eldersmy question is for those who may have had the priviledge of giving talks at circuit assemblies and/or district conventions.

do you think that the reason why you got those parts was because you possessed the gifts in men or was it because you gave gifts to men?

6,000,000 jw worldwide, how many of that number have any clear idea as to how the central part of the organization functions?

how many of them know how decisions as to doctrinal teachings are reached?

what results when a lie is let go unchallenged?

does not silence help the lie to pass as truth, to have freer sway to influence many, perhaps to their serious harm?

what happens when misconduct and immorality are allowed to go unexposed and uncondemned?
